To recap the Michael Kors’ show from yesterday, I think this picture says it all. Usually MK drowns you in khaki, but this collection showed great colors and interesting ensembles.
The olive and purple floral print permeated the collection, along with longer pencil skirts, sable and fur coats, and skinny waist belts. The teased hair, strong black glasses, and frame bags were the icing on the cake.
As always the clothes were sophisticated and wearable, but this year, I found it interesting enough to make a statement without having to combo his pieces with other designers.
The menswear was fantastic as well. It was mostly monotone as shown above, but the cuts were great and the fabrics had character. I will definitely be on the lookout for MK when shopping for my male clients.
