“1.  Uggs, in or out?  I tend to go with out, but so many wear them!
2.  What shoes are considered “in” for this season?
3.  Clothing suggestions for the 5’2?” — Reader Morgan

First and foremost, Uggsare ALWAYS in! The people in Southern California (where it isn’t even close to chilly) have worn Uggs all year round since they were kids.  While they might not be the cutest, and I don’t think you should wear them daily, Uggs make sense so wear them, love them!!!

Shoes for Spring:

  1. High heels or flats (no real in between)
  2. Snakeskin
  3. Patent
  4. Metallic
  5. Wedges
  6. Hidden Platforms

In all honestly, nothing has really changed in terms of shoes.  My goal is always to find a pair with attitude and not just settle for a plain shoe with a pretty label.  Above are Christian Louboutin “Jaws” pumps with ivory python and black patent trim. They are great shoes that will go with everything, but also have a little attitude due to the python texture.

And if you’re 5’2” I don’t see why you should dress any differently than if you were 5’7”.  Heft is 5’2” and she ALWAYS wears heels, but I think she would look just as cute (and more comfortable) in flats.

Have I told you where to find my favorite ballet flats: www.londonsole.com Very unique and cheap!  Please stay away from the Tory Burch flats.  To me, the Tory Burch brand (in terms of shoes and bags) is becoming like Coach.  Not particularly cute, and way overdone.
