POINTY TOE PUMPS, CAN YOU STILL PULL THEM OFF??
Good question Alyssa.
It’s true, the rounded toe is dominating the shoe market at the moment, but I wouldn’t discard the pointy toe pumps, they’re still being made by all of the major brands. Keep them under a these conditions:
- Something is interesting about them. Like this pair has a unique cut out, color, design.
- There must be some toe cleavage. In other words, if you can’t see the bottom of your toes, they’re a no go.
- Patent is a savior. Keep the patent ones.
- You wear them to work because they’re so comfy (although I don’t think this is a legitimate reason, but some people don’t have the adoration for shoes I do).
Otherwise, if you’re looking for the basic work shoe, I would get some rounded toe shoes. Steve Madden has rounded toe pumps in every height and color. If you’re wanting something a little bit more, try Christian Louboutin or Jimmy Choo (shown above) for a well-made basic. I suggest getting patent leather because they are more durable and add a little shine to the most basic suit.
