Here’s what I ended up buying today on my little gaunt out of the house (all purchases in Connecticut boutiques, so it was either T shirts or Tory Burch).
The long snap button down is by Velvet, one of my favorite t shirt companies. The shirt is long enough to actually wear as a mini dress in the summer with a Charlotte Russe tank underneath, and a yellow scarf. For now, it will be paired with leggings. On sale for $32 from $80.
The white top is a little more complicated (it has this weird string that gathers the middle). I’m going to wear it backwards. The front is so low that I would rather have a higher neckline and an open back. Will look great with slacks. Top is by Whim, on sale for $63, down from $176.
The belt is a seperate piece but it definately goes with the top. I plan on mixing tons of different belts with the top, but a skinny gold snake belt is a no-brainer for spring. It doesn’t have a brand on it, but it was $48 down from $98.
And of course, my favorite undies in the world, the low rise Hanky Panky. You can never really have enough! So much better than Cosabella in my opinion. Depending on where you purchase them, they are $16-$18 and NEVER on sale.
Still thinking about the dress…..reader Stacy says I should get it immediately, but I’m thinking I want a little more fabulous. And you know I’ll find it :)
