IL MULINO IS MAGNIFICENT!!!!
I was really upset about Heft’s report that the famous Bouley was “awful,” but my faith in NYC restaurant reputations (and Zagat) was restored last night after dining at IL MULINO.
It lived up to all the hype and then some! A cozy room hosted by Claudio makes you feel right at home as the waiters immediately serve delicious anti pasti. You could really fill up on just the bruschetta as you browse the wine list, but the regulars know better. It’s near to impossible to choose an entre, they all look so good. We shared a caesar salad, spaghetti bolognese, and a huge snapper. All I can say is…..WOW. Delicious.
A 27 year NYC favorite and it’s not going anywhere.
