This week was my first time to dine at Morimoto in the Meatpacking District.

The decor is modern and chic, and so is the food.  But I can’t say that’s a good thing.

Good: I could hear my friend talking and have a normal conversation.

Bad: The atmosphere was cold, and the staff unattentive.

Good:  Items on the menu are unique, not just a Nobu knock off.

Bad: The actual dishes are not overwhelmingly tasty.

Let me just put it to you this way, I wouldn’t recommend it if you asked me where to eat in NYC.
