Tonight I taught a spin class at Soul Cycle, and afterwards hopped right on another bike to take the class afterwards.

Huh….Energized while on the cleanse?

Here’s what the experts say:  When you eat less during the day, you will actually have more energy to sustain a workout.  The reason is, your body doesn’t have to use energy to process not only foods difficult to digest, but large amounts of food.  The reason you get tired after a big meal is because your body has to WORK to digest it.  Hydrate before a workout, eat afterwards.

I’ve never really bought into that theory honestly.  But this week, I have really noticed a difference.
