Looks like Continental had a little upgrade. I’m not sure if it has tv, but unlike Virgin and Jet Blue, it’s not on yet. You can tell it’s not up to snuff. Good thing I have two episodes of Damages and about 6 letters I have to write. That all happens after a cat nap.
No live tv, but a decent selection of current flicks and old favorites. I can’t believe I’m admitting to this, but when I saw Nights in Rodarte was available I instantly dropped my computer to watch it instead of Damages. I love sappy romances with big actors. (Un)fortunately I didn’t shed a single tear – it wasn’t as compelling as it’s predecessor Message in a Bottle.
Then I was onto my letters, and of course my computer died as I’m finishing the 5th. But what’s this? OMG, there’s an outlet under my seat! I got really excited for two seconds until I plugged in and realized it didn’t work. Ugh.
Overall not a bad flight, but as much as I fly Continental, this is the first time I’ve been on one of the new planes. In the end, I still prefer Virgin America. Actually, I would love to be on Virgin Atlantic flying abroad soon…
