The Proper Positioning is Crucial In Spinning

To maximize the benefits of your hard work in a spin class, you really need to position your body correctly.  After setting up your bike, here is a checklist of things you should try to remember while riding.  Start from the head down: ::

  • Head up
  • Shoulders down and relaxed.  Away from your ears
  • Chest up
  • Back slightly curved
  • Core egaged.  ABS IN! (This is the most important because it keeps the weight of the wheel out of your quads and arms.)
  • Legs parallel
  • Pull your knees up, don’t just push your feet down
  • Feet flat
  • Push your heels down to dig when climbing
