Behind the Grape

April 16th, 2009 No Comments

“If you check out grapes outside of the “big six” you’ll notice the wines are generally less expensive for higher quality product. Same goes for regions – a $15 bottle from Chile will likely be higher quality than a $15 bottle from Cali. This is because most people are not as familiar with grapes like Roussanne, Gew├╝rztraminer, and always head straight for their California Chard. So a good tip is to just be adventurous.” — Reader Alison
