Brands I've
Loved Forever

You all know I’m a wino, but I’ve discovered a new intoxicating and addicting characteristic of the grape.

Bottom line: These two grape-based products are a killer combo for soft skin you’ll be dying for someone else to touch.  Girlfriends, husbands, dates, mothers – they’ll all be impressed with how silky smooth your legs are looking.

Recently, I received two products I definitely didn’t need more of: a body scrub and moisturizer.  First of all, I hate scrubs.  I’ve tried many and never felt the benefits.  As for moisturizer, I have more than I know what to do with these days.

BUT, Casey (a PR rep I’ve worked with before) insisted I try Caudalie’s Cabernet Scrub ($35) and REN’s Grapeseed Jojoba Body Cream ($29).  Both are composed of natural ingredients (the real deal natural) and are chemical free. Coincidentally, each also uses grapes as its main ingredient and benefactor.  The grape is apparently beneficial to the skin because the it is 10,000 times more powerful than Vitamin E.

This one – two skin moisturizing combo sounds too good to be true, but it’s not.  Holy moly.  I’ve never experienced anything like it!

The Caudalie scrub doesn’t smell overly girly like fake vanilla (I hate that) and produces a milky substance when you add water.  You can feel your skin getting softer as you rub it on.  I was instantly addicted.

Follow up after your shower with the REN Body Cream that will keep your skin softer than a baby’s butt for the rest of the day.  I also really love the smell – it’s not too sweet and can compliment any fragrance.

I know the price is a little more than you would like to spend on body products, but think of them as a weekly treat for your skin.  It’s especially important to keep your skin moisturized during these hot months when you’re over-exposed to the sun.

**Girly note:  Definitely something you want to use should you think someone might be reaching for your knee later in the evening :)

So, drink up, lather up, and toast the grape for making your summer oh so sweet.
