GOING TO THE CHAPEL, AND WE’RE, GONNA GET MARRIED
Smile Friday – The “That Would be the Mediterranean Sea on the Right” Edition
Here I am in Sitges, Spain during a two week jaunt through Paris and Barcelona. Sitges is a fantastically diverse and lively place that’s about a 1.5 hour train ride from Barcelona. The building on the left of the photo is actually a church. Shortly before this photo was taken, I saw the most stunning bride ever enter those doors. Can you imagine getting married here? In a church that drops off into the bluest blue water? In a place that serves the most amazing food in the world?
I quickly ran up to where I am standing in the photo, Jason snapped this picture, and I forgot about it until I saw that he had set this photo as his computer desktop. Awwww.
OTHER PLACES I CAN THINK OF WITH BEAUTIFUL CHURCHES OVERLOOKING THE WATER:
- Sorrento, Italy
- St. Tropez, France
- Eze, France
- St. Barth’s
NO WATER NEED, JUST A QUAINT CHURCH:
- Anywhere in Europe
- Small town Texas
- Suburban Connecticut
- Charleston, SC (omg, so cute!)
Now, if I could just find a man….Julie talks about her husband all the time, and we’ve seen pictures, he’s quite handsome. However, I think she makes up stories like the one above. He’s just too good to be true!
