I don’t claim to know anything about art, especially modern work. I’m one of those “I know what I like when I see it” people that collectors snub their nose at. (You’re shocked I’m sure.)
Today I was
introduced to blown away by the work of Lowell Boyers. Each piece references a spiritual liberation and rainbow of emotions. Standing there, I had an overwhelming feeling of peace and contentment, like the paintings purged some of my stress. I know that sounds odd, but truly that’s how I felt after my eyes roamed over the canvas.
