Test Drive —> Dead On Impact

Every fashion week, Robert Verdi hosts a gifting suite in his Luxe lounge that has AMAZING goodie bags.  In it, there is sample of most of the beauty products they show in what I call the “beauty bathroom.”

Last year, I made a quick video to show you the Schick Quattro razor with the special “trimmer” on the end.  Great product!

This year CVS sponsored the bathroom and filled it with different brands they offer in the store.  I was excited to hear about them because if they’re stocked at CVS it means they are more affordable than the other products I usually test out for you.

For example, I love my Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue Gel that has drastically decreased the dark circles and puffiness under my eyes.  But at $100, it’s not reasonable for everyone.  So when the PR rep explained the technology behind the Leirac Dipoti Calm Anit-Fatigue Eye Mask/Balm I was intrigued at how something so complex only costs $34.

It felt so good when I put it on…This result of my eyes looking even more scary is truly disappointing.  Apparently, it was too good to be true.  For me anyways….The other chick swears by it.

Update: If you buy a product at CVS and something like this happens, OR you aren’t 100% satisfied for ANY reason, you can return it!
