— Pastor Tim Chaddick

The Pastor is talking about Romans 7:14 – 25, but if you think about it, this is applicable despite your denomination.

He explains that the desire to do wrong (sin) lies within all of us, but if you have a good heart (spirit = faith in God and his tenets) then you are a decent human being (will be forgiven and saved).

To remedy our errors, he said we must recognize our mistakes with humble humility and also with hope, a sense of optimism, that in the future we will make the right decision.

Sounds simple, but I believe it’s a very powerful message. The explanation doesn’t excuse our nature, but explains how we can be good people who make honorable choices.
