THE GOOGLE FOR SHOPPING – THE FIND

This new “buying engine” launches today!

If you’re like me, when you search for a designer or certain product online, you always wonder if the list in front of you shows ALL POSSIBLE stores and sales.  Whether or not that’s true, you still have to search the best deals and reviews.

Apparently today, we will worry our pretty purses no more. TheFind.com has constructed the ultimate shopping search engine to pool 350 million products (clothes, home, garden, electronics, etc) from over 500,000 stores – including the Mom-and-Pop’s online.

I bet you’re thinking, “I don’t want to sift through all of that.”

Of course they have the usual filters – brands, sales, sizes, price.  But they’ve also incorporated:

  • Coupons
  • Green Shopping
  • Reviews (pooled from thousands of sites)
  • Items on Ebay (G, are you getting excited)
  • Location!

I honestly think the Location feature is the coolest because I hate shopping online.  With this tool, you can search for a product and then pinpoint retailers in your area that have it in stock! The founders of TheFind are prioritising your shopping experience over their profit and this feature proves it.

Still think this might be bogus…

The founders are the masterminds behind Shopping.com, Sephora.com, and Daily Candy.

Now go have fun.
