For my last night in town, we went to Mas , one of NYC’s best dining experiences that not many people know about. Just from the cocktails that take a solid five minutes to create properly (above my Manhattan with homemade bitters, soaked cherries, and an ice block without a single bubble), you know the food is going to be beyond fabulous.
The patrons are a little older, the linens are stark white, but the atmosphere of the tiny venue is still cozy and pleasant.
As I said, the food is delicious. American fare with unique preperations and cooked to perfection. Ask the friendly staff for reccomendations on the wine because you’re likely not to order one of their rare French selections.
After dinner, take a stroll in the Village and you’ll realize why people fall in love with New York.Tweet this!
