These last few days I’ve been in a funk, just not motivated to do much at all.
Last night when I had to teach spin, the workout got my blood flowing and reignited my spirit. After class I asked my friend (and trainer at fit) Brice if he would workout with me today to help me get day 2 under my belt and hopefully back on track mentally and physically.
The hardest part is not the exercise, it’s slapping yourself in the face and pushing your mentality out of the way. Our thoughts are powerful, so you have to make the choice to side with the positive and not the negative. My head put me to the test today. Did I pass? No. But it’s a step in the right direction.
