30 Minutes of Cardio Can Make All The Difference

Vacation or a hectic work schedule can get in the way of your New Years resolutions if you let them.  But 30 minutes is all you need on those days to stay on track and keep your spirits up.  Getting in a little workout will even help you to maintain a healthy diet and not reach for the closest carb around you.

For this 30-minute calorie torching, metabolism revving workout all you need is a short stretch of ground to run on and a pool.

Sprinting Intervals:
8 second sprints, followed by 12 seconds of rest for clusters of 9 (3 minutes); then followed by a one minute rest. Repeat this cluster 3 times.

Treading Water Intervals:
1 minute of vigorous treading followed by 1 minute of rest for 8 rounds.
