What’s your healthy alternative?

When I cook, I always try to make the dish as healthy as possible without sacrificing the flavor.

Quinoa is my go-to instead of rice and pasta.  In fact, now I prefer it sometimes.  Above is a pic of my teriyaki broccoli quinoa stirfry (obv one of my lazy day lunches).

This is obviously not very creative.

I’m guessing you have all sorts of nutritious substitutions and interesting methods.  If you would be so kind to share them with us in the comments, we can all learn a little something today!

  • I always substitute applesauce for butter or oil in my cookies and cakes :)
