I desperately want to do something new with my hair. A million people have told me, “You look so much better with long hair.” That’s nice to hear, but it’s just not very exciting on a daily basis.
Everyone seems to have bangs these day. I love the look on other people, but I won’t make the cut. For years as I child my Mom forced me to have bangs so I refuse to consider it now. To traumatic!
This was the best I could do for a temporary fix (tumblrs click through to see the pics).
You’re probably thinking that a ponytail is not revolutionary. And obviously you’re right. But for a girl who employs bobby pins as often as her toothbrush, letting the front loose was an attempt to be a little more interesting. After looking at the pics, I now see that the only notable part about them is the turquoise tile and the killer hoops by Claudia Labao (a gift from the designer herself).
As for my hair, even though it was a slight change, people gave me mixed reviews.
More importantly, I had fun with it….although, I don’t think I would have enjoyed it as much without the bright red lip.
I’m posting this because I feel like you might be looking for a change as the weather warms up too. I actually had a dream about going brown last night, but there’s no way I’m straying from blonde (it’s too hard to go back). Do you see a pattern forming with my restrictions around my hair?Tweet this!
