Strengthening your lower back

A reader asked about exercises to help her begin to strengthen her lower back. Here are three good options for all levels. Do them independently or in between lifting sets as dynamic rest.

Afterwards do a counter stretch that rounds out your back: cat/cow yoga movement, lay with your tummy on the ball, or lay flat on the ground and hug your knees into your chest.
