Usually I always advise that you should carve out an hour or so to shut the world out and focus on yourself and your workout. The mental benefits of exercise can be just as valuable as the physical ones.
But let’s be honest, our schedules don’t always unfold that way.
This morning I was feeling sluggish and really cranky. I knew the only way to get out of the funk would be to workout. My Monday morning to do list was piling up, but I decided not to make a choice between emailing and exercise. I was determined to do them both on the bike.
I’ll be honest, it wasn’t the most efficient use of time for either work or cardio, but I did get both accomplished in 2 hours (usually my workout takes between 1-1.5 hours).
Now I’m off and running into my day with a smile. Overall, I’d say it was a successful multi-tasking morning :)Tweet this!
