I’ve been having a hard time getting out of bed recently. Mostly because I’m not getting enough sleep, but that doesn’t mean I can lay around after hitting the snooze button three times.
I have a few new tactics that have actually helped me get going. Depending on how sluggish I’m feeling, I employ one or all three.
State: No way I’m moving. –> Action: Scrunch my face in all different ways.
State: Just being lazy –> Action: Lift my legs straight up in the air and do “breathing crunches.” (Exhale pulling naval to spine and eventually lifting shoulders up off the bed.)
State: First move out of bed. –> Action: Dart to fridge and eat cold pineapple. The sugar rush works instantly!Tweet this!
