You know the sax solo during the bridge in “Edge of Glory” by Lady Gaga?

Doesn’t it sound EXACTLY like Rob Lowe’s sax performance in the dive bar in St. Elmo’s Fire?!!!

Next time you hear it on the radio, close your eyes, wait for it……then you’ll totally see Rob dancing around with the head band, feather earring, and ripped t-shirt while Wendy (what’s here name in real life), decked out in a doily, watched with lustful eyes amongst the drunken crowd.

This could be before your time.  If you’ve never seen St. Elmo’s Fire or Breakfast Club….I’m sure you’ve seen Ferris Beuller’s Day Off…you missed out.  Not sure if it has the same effect now with all of the celeb rom coms.  But it was good stuff back in the day.  (And I saw it a decade after it was released!)
