Learning a new language around “healthy”

Yesterday I posted a quote from my latest inspiring read.

Dr. Ornish is pretty much the leading authority on healthy living, which he has proven to prevent and cure disease. Obviously that’s not front page news, but the language and perspective he explains diet and exercise is more realistic and effective.

Over the coming weeks I’ll post excerpts. I’m only 75 pages in at this point so we’ll learn the Spectrum together. If you’ve struggled with weight and diet, I suggest you order a copy to help you hit the reset button just in time for the new year and never look back. That’s his promise: health and sustainability. With his credentials, experience, and research, I believe him.

    Hi Mary! Have you ever heard of the Paleo Diet/Primal Blueprint? It seems to have similar goals as this book – although I’m not sure what foods/lifestyle plans Dean Ornish recommends. Paleo/Primal is all about eating the foods we were meant to consume as humans, and loads of people experience success with weight loss and other health issues like asthma, energy levels, constant appetite, anxiety, add, etc. There are several books on the topic and they provide a fascinating read!
