$10 mani. $38 mani and pedi. And it lasts!!

You have probably passed Nails Pro on Memorial Drive (just west of Westcott) a million times and never thought to stop in. One day I did, and was so pleasantly surprised with the quiet salon and quality service.

Meet Nancy:

Her manicures last a week on my claws. I’ve been to her 4 times now to make sure her skills were consistent. She has yet to disappoint me!

They’ve got big comfy chairs for pedicures. And they’re rarely busy so just drop in.

Where is this in relation to hotel zaza? Im staying there for two months while my husband is at mda and need some decompressing !!! Any other recommendations would be awesome too!!!

    • Ceg,

I’m sorry to hear about your husband, but he will be attended to by the best!

Nails Pro is a 6 minute drive down montrose, turn right to take Memorial drive east (which goes to your left but you turn right onto the ramp). Then it’s about 5 minutes down on your right.

Hotel Zaza actually has a great Mani pedis – LOVE their reclining chairs – but it more expensive.

As for the rest of Houston go up to the top of my blog and put your mouse over cities. A dropdown menu will appear and you’ll see Houston.

Restaurants you should go to that are relatively close:

      Goode Company BBQ
      Hungry’s for lunch
      Down Pour for coffee
La Madeliene for lunch (fat free chicken cesaer salad)
      Vic & Anthony’s steakhouse
Brennan’s happy hour (best and most $& rest in town but happy hour is awesome deal)
Beck’s Prime or Hubcap for Burger
El Tiempo or Escalantes for tex mex
      Carrabba’s for Italian
      Tiny Boxwood’s for casual
      Barnaby’s for casual

      As far as attractions:
Run 3 mile loop around Rice
      Ecclesia for church
Museum of Fine Art is across the street from you
      Walk around Rice Village
      Guild Shop Thrift Store
      Alley Theater shows

I feel like I’m forgetting something, check out my blog!

  • I found you via GOMI. Also in Houston, and also a fan of Nail Pro! I use to go there for nails/toes! I havent been doing that for quite some time due to finances, but I also noticed Snap! kitchen the other day as I was driving down Memorial.

Anyway, I have just started weights again, been a long time distance runner, so I will be looking at your blog!
