Real-life application of all that exercise!
Today, I’m putting my muslces to the test and seeing if I am as strong as I believe I am. You know what they say, “lift with your legs!”
Truth be told, physical strength is not what I need for moving, which is on my top ten things I dislike most in life. Probably because I’m so bad at it. I’m a perfectionist (and lazy) so moving doesn’t make for an enjoyable experience. Thankfully my mother is a master mover and always willing to help pack. With me now I have my stepmother (the master at decorating on a budget) and my aunt (the best handy man I know) to help us set up our new little rental house in Atlanta. Yes, I have the sweetest and most supportive family on the planet and I am so grateful!
But this move is different for me….
I’m so excited to be here, lifting boxes, sweating in the heat, venturing into the depth of Home Depot, etc. This move marks my official move to Atlanta!!
I’ll fill you in on details soon. You know since my NYC “Fameball” days I’m hesitant to share the details of my personal life. I really appreciate you respecting that. As I settle down, I promise to share more and answer your questions (I know what you are searching on google!).
In the meantime, I have some serious work to do on this house that we will call home for the next year. I’ve written some fun and informative posts for the week so you’re all set on the blog. You know I can’t help but post consistently on my other platforms – I’m MaryRambin on Tumblr, Instagram, and Twitter – so you can see how it’s coming along and if I’m surviving :)
Have a great week!Tweet this!
