I hate fumbling for my phone in the wee hours of the morning, especially if I’ve lost it in the covers the night before. By the time I’ve found it and hit Snooze, I’m already awake and can’t get back to sleep. Maybe that’s a good thing, but I like my new SpeakToSnooze app better.
SpeakToSnooze allows you to tell the damn thing to either “Turn Alarm Off” or “Snooze Alarm.” Clever! As you can see above, you can push the buttons too if you want, but I think it’s fun to yell at it :)
My first thought was that I can only do this because I’m sleeping alone, but actually the voice command feature is awesome for couples too. If one person doesn’t hear the alarm, the other person can tell it what to do without having to reach over and press any buttons.
There are several other features you can set: personality of voice, absolute latest time you can sleep until, alarm volume, and several others with the free version.
When you buy espresso credits on the app which you put towards advanced features. For example, you can have it listen for your commands at all times and say things like, “What time is it” or “Set my alarm for 7:45am.”Tweet this!
