In which I fail? OR succeed?

Last week I showed you a challenging 1 minute ab workout I NAILED.  But…what happens when I just can’t do an exercise?  Whether it’s the movement or the weight that just doesn’t feel right….

I ACCEPT IT!

Especially with my chronic back issues and arthritis in my neck, I just have to accept I can’t do everything.

In this video (which is sped up), I try one of Meredith’s favorite TOTAL body exercises.  It’s really hard…technically. In attempting technical workouts I always try the movement without weights first to protect my body.  That’s why you see the kettle bell sitting off to the side.  If I get hurt because my form is wrong and I’m pushing weight, I can’t do anything…much more frustrating than not being able to do one exercise.

This series just didn’t feel right to me so I moved on to something else. But in my book, trying the new exercise is a win.

Don’t beat yourself up all the time!
