InteriorDecline is an interior design blog I recently started following.  It was recommended on Tumblr’s directory and has proven to be a solid choice.  In her latest post Julia thanks her 2,000 followers.  That’s quite a following!

I chose this picture to introduce her because despite how cheesy a bed of roses is, we’re all romantics at heart.  So fall in love with Julie and her visually enticing blog.

She writes about this photo:

“The Hotel Maison Moschino has 65 individually designed rooms, each one inspired by fairytales and decorated in a surrealist fashion. This room, called “Life is a bed of roses,” is my favorite one. I love the chandelier with the floating petals.

Thanks Olivia!”

P.S. Is it weird that a girl who gets nervous even thinking about picking out throw pillows loves interior design and architecture blogs (which mostly just pictures)?

Reader Claudia is going on 30 dates in 30 days!

Yikes, I can barely stand 3 dates per month these days.

She admits the concept is nothing new. But come on, it’s ambitious! And I haven’t even mentioned she’s a NYC girl living in Fort Lauderdale. I can’t even imagine the variety of men she’ll discover down there.

Of course she’s blogging the whole thing so we won’t have to use our imaginations. One click and we can read all about her experiences.

So Claudia, new followers of your endeavor, I only ask one thing. TAKE LOTS OF PICTURES PLEASE! We’ll be here with our fingers crossed for you.

Well this just made my day.  Thank you Tatiana! I enjoy following your life and of course your fashion posts are fabulous!

Sending Out Some Love

I just wanted to take a moment and express my gratitude to these three lovely ladies. Each of them are different in their own way and each of them has been there for me or helped me when I was in a jam. Not to mention they are all so gorgeous!!

Mary is my go to. Restaurant recommendations, style advice, or blogger etiquette she is the one I go to over and over again. The best part? She never misses. I adore her energy, beauty, creativity, and how incredibly down to earth she is. And I love, love watching her chase her dreams! Such an inspiration.

Georgina and I have “known” each other for quite some time. She is funny, real, and the most stylish mummy in NYC! Countless times she has given me sound career and relationship advice. She is respected by her colleagues, friends, and readers and I only hope to garner the same kind of admiration.

Emily has the biggest heart and deepest soul. Her two dogs are quite possibly the most loved dogs on the planet, not to mention most well taken care of. She has been there for me every time I needed some advice about Belle and I’m pretty sure is better than our vet at coming up with good solutions. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting her and I can sum it up by saying I never wanted her to leave. Such a joy!

Thank you ladies for all the advice, support, laughs, and stories! You are all oh so fabulous!!

Since she’s applauding amazing women who blog, I really have to addSarah.  I could NOT LIVE without her as my ninja (= loyal til the end friend). Her blog is my absolute first stop for NYC restaurants and refreshing perspective on life.  Her cell phone is my first call to get advice on just about anything.

Check out Mike’s new blog about his entrepreneurial experiences.

He has had success starting and operating 3 businesses.

If you’ve ever thought of going out on your own (which as both Mike and I will tell you is scary), it’s always smart to ask about the challenges others faced so you can prepare and plan ahead.

(BTW, Mike, love the logo!)
