More Than MILK giveaway – Enter with one tweet.

Archipelago is one of those brands that does it right. Natural ingredients, quality products, a reputable company, and decent price points. It’s been that way since they started in a garage in 1998!

Today, I get to give away two of my favorites from their line!

Archipelago Oat and Honey Body Butter and the Soy Milk Lotion have different purposes in my opinion. The body butter is for a good nighttime lathering, especially after a day in the sun or snow, because it’s intense and thick. The creme is perfect for everyday use in the spring and summer because it’s moisturizing, smells delightful (that is truly the best adjective for it), goes on lightly, and absorbs quickly. I can’t say the same about the Bliss Lemon-Sage Body Butter, one of my all-time faves, which tries to be both a butter and lotion, but takes forever to rub in (and is almost twice as pricey). Sounds like I’ll be making a switch!

Well after this holiday it should be apparent I’m not very good at generating gift guides. I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I don’t want anything for Christmas…The only thing I asked for was a professional teeth cleaning for Mason. Seriously. Plus, guides take a lot of time (which I don’t have these days), and I didn’t have anything revolutionary to post that I hadn’t already. If you scroll down, you’ll see some good recs! The gifts that I actually bought, aside from Advent Conspiracy water, were very specific.

I think this makeup bag giveaway got lost in the Alberta Ferretti post!

Let me explain clearly:

After years of covering New York Fashion Week, I would die to do it all over again in Milan. In Europe, the designers take their collections and shows to another level. The intricacy of the details, the flawless tailoring, and graceful flow of the fabric is something special to behold. Just ask my interns who slaved away for weeks to get access to shows at NYFW.

Paint your own glam nails – a giveaway!

Nails Inc, a polish line from London, just launched in Sephora and is letting me give away polish to 2 readers!

As you can see, I tested two for my DIY mani pedi. I was hesitant to use the bold colors, but it went on so well. Because the polish is thick and smooth, I only needed one coat. Obviously that’s a plus because it decreased drying time. My nails didn’t endure as long as my toes, but that’s pretty standard for me.

Wisdom, cookies, and a free camera!

On my second night at Dos Brisas, they left me words of wisdom and two delicious oatmeal raisin cookies by my bed. I took the opportunity to whip out my Samsung SH 100 and make a cool pic with one click.

Here’s an example of one of the effects you are going for in your picture submission. It’s called a “vignette” where the perimeter is darkened to draw your eye towards the center of the picture. On the camera, this feature also saturates the colors.
